When I was in the Army, I always thought we needed better gear and like many others, I used my fair share of 100-mile-hour tape, zip ties and 550 cord. What I learned during my combat tours was how important it was to have the right gear for my duties and how much more vital it was to be able to get to that gear as quickly as possible.
The first helmet clip I made was in Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, and I used it throughout two more
combat deployments. When I returned home,
I used it throughout training missions and
also to stow my kit away until I needed it again.
It wasn't until after my retirement that I
knew that I had to make it available for others
to use. Today, I'm proud to see my fellow
service members, law enforcement officers,
border patrol agents, contractors, and others
use KapKlips.
Unlike the other alternatives, such as a
carabiner, this patent pending design will
allow for you to quickly access your helmet
when you need to get it back on and
into the fight.
